Hawai'i consits of eight major islands:
Oahu
Maui
Hawaii (known as Big Island)
Kauai
Molokai
Lanai
Kahoolawe (uninhabited) and
Niihau (privately owned)
There are also 124 minor islands, reefs and shoals, strung like a necklace across the Pacific for over 1,500 miles.Kauai is the oldest of the major islands, with a Garden Isle nickname it looks like the planned Garden of Eden.
Kauai has three airports:
Port Allen Airport
Lihue Airport
Princeville Airport
